Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Welcome to Tanzania

Karibu Tanzania!

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional Africa Safaris Adventure representative. After a short safari briefing, you’ll be introduced to your experienced driver-guide before beginning your comfortable transfer to the charming city of Arusha.

Nestled beneath the towering Mount Meru, Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s world-famous national parks and offers the perfect introduction to your East African adventure.

The remainder of the day is yours to relax and recover from your international flight while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of your luxury boutique hotel. Take advantage of the excellent facilities, enjoy a refreshing swim, or simply unwind as you prepare for the exciting safari that awaits.

As evening falls, enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for a restful night.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Elephant Paradise

Following an early breakfast, your safari officially begins as you depart Arusha for the magnificent Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden wildlife treasures.

Famous for its enormous elephant population, majestic baobab trees, and spectacular scenery, Tarangire offers one of East Africa’s most rewarding wildlife experiences. Covering approximately 2,600 square kilometres, the park is a haven for wildlife throughout the year, particularly during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River.

Enjoy an exciting morning and afternoon game drive aboard your custom-built 4×4 safari vehicle, searching for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, and over 500 recorded bird species.

Pause for a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing your wildlife adventure through the park’s diverse habitats.

Later in the afternoon, depart Tarangire and drive towards the beautiful Karatu Highlands for your overnight stay.

Day 3

Tarangire – Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Karatu and journey through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.

As you travel across the rolling highlands, enjoy spectacular panoramic views before descending onto the endless golden plains that have made the Serengeti one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Serengeti is renowned for its incredible biodiversity and abundant wildlife. Home to the Great Migration and one of the highest concentrations of predators in Africa, this vast wilderness offers unrivalled opportunities to encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and countless antelope species.

Today is dedicated to exploring the heart of the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Accompanied by your professional safari guide, venture deep into the park in search of Africa’s magnificent Big Five and countless other species that call this pristine ecosystem home.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Highlands

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Karatu

Explore Africa’s Natural Wonder

Today promises one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Africa.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of the most remarkable natural wonders on the planet. Formed over two million years ago, this UNESCO World Heritage Site supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife anywhere in Africa.

The fertile crater floor provides an ideal habitat for an astonishing variety of animals, making it one of the few places where visitors have an excellent chance of spotting the legendary Big Five in a single day.

Spend the morning exploring forests, grasslands, acacia woodlands, freshwater lakes and swamps while searching for black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, jackals and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the incredible scenery before continuing your afternoon wildlife adventure.

Later, ascend the crater walls and journey back to Karatu for another relaxing evening at your beautiful lodge.

Mto wa Mbu Cultural Experience – Return to Arusha

Authentic Culture & Farewell to Tanzania

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning the final chapter of your unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.

Your journey continues to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, one of Tanzania’s most culturally diverse communities. Home to representatives of more than 120 ethnic groups, this lively settlement offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into authentic Tanzanian life.

Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, stroll through the bustling village streets, interact with friendly residents, visit local markets, admire traditional craftsmanship and gain insight into the customs and daily lives of Tanzania’s diverse communities.

Depending on time available, you may also experience local farming activities, taste seasonal tropical fruits and learn about traditional food preparation methods that have been passed down through generations.

Following your cultural experience, enjoy lunch before departing for Arusha.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred either to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your unforgettable Tanzania safari to a close.
