DAY 1: NAIROBI – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Journey into Kenya’s Wild North

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Depart north through the fertile agricultural landscapes of Central Kenya, passing coffee, tea, and pineapple plantations as the scenery gradually transforms into the dramatic semi-arid wilderness of Samburu County.

Arrive at your safari lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, set out on your first exciting game drive across the reserve. Samburu’s unique ecosystem supports wildlife found nowhere else in Kenya, making every moment a rewarding experience. Keep your camera ready as you search for the famous Samburu Special Five alongside elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos and numerous bird species.

As the African sun sets over the rugged landscape, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: FULL DAY IN SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Sunrise Safari & Journey Home

Rise early for one final sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the golden morning light paints the landscape in spectacular colours. This is one of the best times to witness nature at its most dramatic while capturing unforgettable photographs.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your scenic drive back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Samburu adventure.
