Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda – Transfer to Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Africa Safaris Adventure representative.

After a short safari briefing, transfer to Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital city. Enjoy your first glimpse of the “Pearl of Africa” as you drive through lively towns and beautiful countryside.

Spend the remainder of the evening relaxing before your exciting safari begins.

Day 2: Kampala – Equator Crossing – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Kampala and begin one of Uganda’s most scenic journeys towards the world-famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

En route, make a memorable stop at the Uganda Equator, where you can take photographs and experience the unique geographical landmark dividing the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Continue your adventure through the rolling grasslands of Ankole, renowned for the magnificent long-horned Ankole cattle. The scenery gradually changes into the spectacular terraced hills of the Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.”

Stop for lunch before continuing through breathtaking mountain landscapes to Bwindi.

Arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge, surrounded by the lush rainforest that shelters the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Once-in-a-Lifetime Adventure

After an early breakfast, report to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for registration and a comprehensive briefing by experienced ranger guides.

Then begins one of Africa’s greatest wildlife experiences.

Accompanied by expert trackers, venture into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Depending on the gorillas’ movements, the trek may last from approximately 30 minutes to several hours, making every encounter unique and rewarding.

When you finally meet the gorillas, you’ll spend a magical hour observing them as they feed, groom one another, nurture their young, and interact naturally within their family group. It is an emotional and unforgettable wildlife encounter unlike any other.

After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and celebrate this incredible achievement.

Day 4: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi Scenic Escape

Following breakfast, depart Bwindi and journey to the breathtaking shores of Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest and most beautiful lakes.

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before embarking on a relaxing boat excursion across the lake. Cruise among the numerous islands while admiring the stunning terraced hills, abundant birdlife, and peaceful surroundings that make Lake Bunyonyi one of Uganda’s hidden gems.

Spend the evening unwinding and enjoying the serene lakeside atmosphere.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala – Entebbe Departure

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the calm waters of Lake Bunyonyi before beginning your return journey to Kampala.

Stop for lunch en route before visiting the famous Mpambire Drum Makers, where you can shop for authentic Ugandan crafts, souvenirs, and handmade gifts.

Continue to Entebbe International Airport for your onward departure flight, bringing your unforgettable Uganda adventure to a close.

A late evening departure flight is highly recommended.
