Travel through changing landscapes as the bustling city slowly gives way to rolling hills, lush farmlands, banana plantations, and endless green countryside.
A memorable stop awaits at the Uganda Equator, where you’ll have time to take photographs, shop for souvenirs, and witness the famous water experiment demonstrating the meeting point between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Continue your journey through the picturesque Ankole region, famous for its magnificent long-horned cattle, before ascending into the breathtaking Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa” because of its dramatic terraced hills and misty valleys.

Armed with your walking stick and accompanied by expert trackers, venture deep into the ancient rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families.
The trek may take between 30 minutes and 5 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas through the forest.
