Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Welcome to Kenya

Karibu Kenya!

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our Africa Safaris Adventure representative and transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy your first exciting game drive in Nairobi National Park—the world’s only wildlife park bordering a capital city. Search for lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, ostriches and many more against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline.

Day 2: Nairobi Wildlife & Heritage Experience

After breakfast, discover two of Nairobi’s most iconic attractions.

Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where rescued orphaned baby elephants are rehabilitated before being released back into the wild.

Later, continue to the famous Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the renowned author of Out of Africa, offering fascinating insights into Kenya’s colonial history.

Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nairobi Cultural Discovery

Enjoy breakfast before visiting the renowned Bomas of Kenya, where Kenya’s diverse cultures come alive through traditional homesteads, music, dance, crafts and spectacular performances representing more than 40 ethnic communities.

Spend the afternoon at leisure before dinner.

Day 4: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for the spectacular Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, head to one of the best viewpoints to admire the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, weather permitting.

Enjoy your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its enormous elephant herds roaming beneath Africa’s most iconic mountain.

Day 5: Full Day Safari in Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems on morning and afternoon game drives.

Watch large elephant families, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests and hundreds of bird species as they roam the expansive plains with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a breathtaking backdrop.

Day 6: Leisure in Amboseli

Enjoy a relaxed day surrounded by the beauty of Amboseli.

Take advantage of your lodge’s facilities or choose an optional evening game drive to witness wildlife becoming active as the African sun sets across the plains.

Day 7: Amboseli – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, journey across the dramatic Great Rift Valley towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive in the evening, settle into your camp, and soak in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Days 8 & 9: Explore the Legendary Maasai Mara

Spend two unforgettable days exploring one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations.

Morning and afternoon game drives offer outstanding opportunities to encounter the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, gazelles, hippos, crocodiles and countless bird species.

From July to October, witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, as millions of wildebeest and zebras brave the crocodile-filled Mara River in search of greener grazing lands.

Picnic lunch is served deep inside the reserve, allowing maximum time for wildlife viewing.

Day 10: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast.

Later, depart for Nairobi with scenic views across the Great Rift Valley, arriving in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Nairobi – Mombasa by SGR Express Train

This morning, transfer to the Nairobi Terminus to board Kenya’s famous Madaraka Express (SGR).

Relax and enjoy one of Africa’s most scenic rail journeys as you travel through Tsavo’s vast wilderness toward the warm Indian Ocean coast.

Upon arrival in Mombasa, transfer to your beach resort and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Days 12–14: Mombasa Beach Escape

Enjoy three blissful days relaxing along Kenya’s spectacular coastline.

Spend your time soaking up the sun, swimming in the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, strolling along powder-white beaches, or simply unwinding beneath swaying palm trees.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Mombasa SGR Station for your return journey to Nairobi aboard the Madaraka Express.

Day 17: Departure – Farewell Kenya

After breakfast (or according to your flight schedule), transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
