DAY 1 — NAIROBI → MAASAI MARA

Welcome to the Wild | Bateleur Camp

Your East African adventure begins in Nairobi.

After a seamless connection to Wilson Airport, board your scheduled safari flight to the Maasai Mara. As Nairobi disappears behind you, the landscape transforms into rolling grasslands, acacia-dotted plains and endless wilderness.

On arrival at the Mara airstrip, your safari guide welcomes you and begins the journey towards Bateleur Camp.

Settle into your luxurious tented accommodation before heading out for your first afternoon game drive.

The Mara immediately sets the tone: expansive savannah, abundant wildlife and the possibility of extraordinary encounters around every bend.

DAY 2 — MAASAI MARA

A Full Day in the Mara

Wake to the sounds of the African bush.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Maasai Mara, with the flexibility to shape the day around your interests and the wildlife activity.

Set out on an early morning game drive while the plains come alive. Search for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, cheetah and other iconic wildlife before returning to camp for breakfast.

Later, continue your exploration with another game drive, taking time to appreciate the landscapes and smaller details that make the Mara so extraordinary.

Your day can be complemented by relaxed moments at camp, sundowners and the exceptional hospitality for which Bateleur is known.

DAY 3 — MAASAI MARA → SERENGETI

From One Legendary Wilderness to Another

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Maasai Mara and take to the skies.

Your light aircraft flight carries you southwards across the Kenya–Tanzania frontier towards the Serengeti.

The transition is seamless: from the Mara ecosystem into one of Africa’s greatest wildlife landscapes.

On arrival, meet your Serengeti guide and continue towards Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge.

After settling in, enjoy your first Serengeti game drive as the afternoon light transforms the plains.

Tonight, experience the atmosphere of the Serengeti from the comfort of your lodge.

DAY 4 — SERENGETI

The Endless Plains

Today belongs entirely to the Serengeti.

Rise early for a game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak. Follow the rhythms of the wilderness as your expert guide reads tracks, behaviour and movement across the plains.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and time to relax before another opportunity to explore later in the day.

Whether your focus is big cats, elephants, plains game, birdlife or simply the spectacular Serengeti scenery, today allows the safari to unfold at its own pace.

As evening approaches, enjoy a sundowner before returning to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 5 — SERENGETI

Beyond the Ordinary

Enjoy another immersive day in the Serengeti.

With an additional full day in this vast ecosystem, there is time to venture further, explore different habitats and follow wildlife activity without feeling rushed.

Your guide will tailor the day’s safari experience around seasonal conditions, wildlife movements and your interests.

Return to Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge in the evening for a final night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY 6 — SERENGETI → LAIKIPIA, KENYA

From the Serengeti to Suyian

After breakfast, your East African journey continues northwards.

Take your scheduled safari flight from the Serengeti towards Kenya, connecting with the remote wilderness of Laikipia.

The scenery changes dramatically as the open Serengeti plains give way to the rugged landscapes of northern Kenya.

Upon arrival, transfer into Suyian Conservancy and continue to Suyian Lodge.

This is a different side of Kenya — wild, remote and deeply connected to the landscape.

Enjoy an afternoon activity according to the conditions and your interests before settling into the lodge for the evening.

DAY 7 — SUYIAN CONSERVANCY

Enjoy a morning wilderness experience followed by time at the lodge. Depending on the conditions and available activities, your day can unfold through wildlife viewing, guided exploration and time immersed in the landscape.

As the sun begins to fall, pause to take in the vastness of northern Kenya — a fitting final chapter to your East African adventure.

DAY 8 — SUYIAN → NAIROBI

As the safari aircraft lifts away from Laikipia, look back on seven nights of extraordinary landscapes, wildlife and seamless movement across two of East Africa’s most iconic safari countries.
