Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your Tanzania adventure begins with a warm welcome from your professional Africa Safaris Adventure safari guide in Arusha. After a comprehensive safari briefing, depart for the spectacular Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden wildlife treasures.

Known for its enormous elephant herds and iconic ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers outstanding game viewing throughout the year. During your afternoon game drive, keep watch for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas and an incredible variety of birdlife. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife from across the park, creating unforgettable photographic opportunities.

After an exciting afternoon in the wilderness, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Central Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. Your journey itself becomes a scenic game drive as you pass through breathtaking landscapes rich with wildlife.

Arrive in the Central Serengeti, home to one of Africa’s richest ecosystems and an extraordinary concentration of predators. Spend the afternoon exploring the vast open plains where lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, giraffes and numerous antelope species roam freely.

As the sun sets across the endless savannah, head to your safari camp nestled within the Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations.

An early morning game drive offers the best opportunity to witness predators in action while the cooler temperatures encourage wildlife activity. Throughout the day, your experienced guide will navigate different sections of the park in search of the Big Five and countless other species.

Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the spectacular Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains in search of greener pastures.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari.

Return to camp for dinner beneath the African skies.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

Following breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave Serengeti and proceed towards the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend approximately 600 metres into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site supports an astonishing diversity of wildlife within its enclosed ecosystem, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and numerous antelope species.

After a rewarding game drive with picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend the crater walls and continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Experience – Arusha

After breakfast, travel to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, famous for its rich cultural diversity where more than 120 Tanzanian tribes live together.

Enjoy a guided cultural walk through local markets, farms and artisan workshops while interacting with friendly local communities and learning about traditional Tanzanian lifestyles.

Following lunch, begin your journey back to Arusha where your memorable Tanzania safari concludes with a transfer to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
