Day 1: Nairobi – Arusha (Tanzania)

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and journey south through the scenic plains of Kajiado before crossing into Tanzania at Namanga. Continue to the vibrant safari city of Arusha, nestled beneath the towering Mount Meru. Often referred to as the gateway to Tanzania’s famous national parks, Arusha offers a lively blend of African culture, colourful markets and stunning landscapes, making it the perfect introduction to the adventure ahead.


Day 2: Arusha – Dodoma

Travel through Tanzania’s picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills, traditional villages and endless farmlands before arriving in Dodoma, the nation’s capital. The journey provides fascinating insights into everyday Tanzanian life while showcasing the country’s rich cultural diversity and expansive landscapes.


Day 3: Dodoma – Mbeya

Continue southwest through changing scenery as fertile highlands replace open plains. The route to Mbeya is renowned for its spectacular mountain scenery, lush tea plantations and cool climate, offering one of Tanzania’s most scenic drives before reaching this charming highland city.


Day 4: Mbeya – Lake Malawi (Malawi)
