Overview
The famous Big 5 animals consist of the lion, elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. The name Big 5 originally came from game hunters referring to the hardest animals to hunt on foot. • Depart at 7 am for the worlds famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. (Its sheer beauty of wide savannah, rolling hills, meandering rivers, riverine forests with huge grazing herds, bountiful birdlife and the big five).
• Enjoy a leisurely and scenic drive with a brief stopover at the View Point to marvel at the beauty of The Great Rift Valley.
• Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and spend the early afternoon at leisure. Enjoy a game drive at 4 am in search of wildlife.
• Dinner and overnight at Enkorok mara camp. (L/D)
2. Maasai Mara
• Enjoy an early morning game drive at 6.30 am in search of wildlife.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and visit a local cultural Maasai Village to learn more about this unique tribe that co – exists freely with wildlife.
• Return to the lodge and spend the day at leisure.
• Enjoy a game drive at 4 pm in search of wildlife.
• Dinner and overnight Enkorok mara camp. (B/L/D)
3. Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru
• After early breakfast depart at 7 am for Lake Nakuru National Park.
(A fresh water lake with over 2 million flamingos that flock to feed on the teeming algae, over 450 different bird species can be spotted and it hosts a sanctuary to the Black Rhino and White Rhino).
• Enjoy a leisurely drive arriving at the lodge in time for lunch and spend the early afternoon at leisure.
• Enjoy a game drive at 4 pm in search of wildlife.
• Dinner and overnight at Lanet mat farm. (B/L/D)
4. Lake Nakuru – Amboseli
• Enjoy an early morning game drive at 6.30 am in search of wildlife.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out at 10.30 am.
• Depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi for a stopover lunch at “The Carnivore Restaurant” to experience game meat and barbecue meat, (Truly a photographer’s paradise with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of Elephants).
• After lunch depart for Amboseli arriving early evening with a game en route to the lodge.
• Dinner and overnight at Kilima safari camp. (B/L/D)
5. Amboseli
• Enjoy an early morning game drive at 6.30 am in search of wildlife.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the day at leisure or enjoy a swim in the pool.
• Enjoy a game drive at 4 pm in search of wildlife.
• Dinner and overnight at Kilima safari camp. (B/L/D)
6. Amboseli – Nairobi
• Enjoy an early morning game drive at 6.30 am in search of wildlife.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out at 10 am
• Enjoy a leisurely drive arriving Nairobi early afternoon. (B)
