11 Days Kenya – Tanzania- Rwanda Adventure Safari

ITINERARY

Day 1: ARRIVAL - NAIROBI
After meet and greet by our team, you will be transferred to the hotel to check in and relax. Dinner and overnight at Prideinn Azure Nairobi. (B/B)
Day 2: NAIROBI CITY TOUR
Nairobi National Park – 6:30AM – 9:30AM
On this day, early the driver/guide will pick you up as early as 6.a.m in a customized tour van with pop up roof. You will drive direct to the gates of Nairobi national park,getting there by around 6.30.a.m.Once you make the payment of usd 43 per person using your credit card, the game drive will begin in search of the wide variety of animals that this amazing park has to offer. The pop up roof offers better viewing during the game drive than when in a sedan car.The game drive will run up to around 9.30.a.m.
We start our journey towards David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to be at the gate by 11:00AM
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust 9:30 AM – 12:00PM
The home of the baby elephants,the David sheldriek wildlife trust. This attraction site is open every day and only between 11.a.m to 12 noon, at the elephant orphanage you will see the baby elephants coming in different groups and listen to the guide/narrator as he tells the history of each baby elephant as you enjoy watching these babies drink their formulae.
After the fun with the baby elephants and other orphaned wildlife, we stop over for lunch before heading to the Giraffe center for more adventure and fun feeding the giraffes.

The Africa Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W.) Kenya was founded in 1979 by the late Jock Leslie-Melville, a Kenyan citizen of British descent, and his American-born wife, Betty Leslie-Melville. They began the Giraffe Centre after discovering the sad plight of the Rothschild Giraffe. A subspecies of the giraffe found only in the grasslands of East Africa.
The Giraffe Centre has also become world-famous as a Nature Education Centre, educating thousands of Kenyan school children every year.
“The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT)”
Best known for our work to protect elephants, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT) operates the most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. But we do much more than this. We embrace all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife including anti-poaching, safe guarding the natural environment, enhancing community awareness and providing veterinary assistance to animals in need.
Karen Blixen Museum 4:00PM – 5:00PM
The farm house gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar winning film based on Karen’s an autobiography by the same title.The Museum is open to the Public every day from 9:30 am to 6:00pm including weekends and public holidays. Guided tours are available at all times. A museum shop offers handicrafts, posters and postcards.

Day 3: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI
• After early breakfast depart at 7 am for Amboseli National Park, (Truly a photographer’s paradise with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of Elephants).
• Arriving early evening with a game enroute to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Luxury Camp. (B/L/D)
Day 4: AMBOSELI - NAIROBI – KIGALI, RWANDA
After breakfast depart for Nairobi with a stopover for lunch to arrive in good time for shopping and later airport transfer to J.K.I.A to catch up with your flight for Kigali, Rwanda.
Arrival in Kigali, check in and Relax.

Day 5: KIGALI RWANDA

Day 6: KIGALI CITY TOUR
After breakfast we depart for Kigali City tour (Kigali genocide memorial, Local markets & art galleries)
Day activities include {Lunch, Transport, activities fees and Soft drinks}

Day 7: KIGALI – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we depart to Volcanoes National Park for several adventure activities. Day activities include {Lunch, Transport, activities fees and Soft drinks}

Day 8: KIGALI, RWANDA – DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your Flight to Dar es salaam.
Arrival in Dar es Salaam
- pick up from Dar es Salaam airport and transfer to your hotel at the beach for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Holiday inn. Meal plan (dinner)
- Day 9: DAR . – SAADANI NATIONAL PARK (TANZANIA)
- 5:00 am: pick from your hotel in Dar, with picnic lunch, drive to Saadani national park (about 3 to 4 hours drive)
- start with game drive upon your arrival and have your meals in the park.
- 2:30 PM: exit park and drive back to Dar for dinner and overnight.
- 7:30 PM: dinner and overnight at your Holiday inn. Meal plan (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
- Day 10 CITY TOUR – BONGONYO ISLAND – COCO BEACH
- 7:00 am: breakfast - 8:00 am: your driver guide will take you around Dar es Salaam city for a city tour, visit Botanical gardens, Dar es Salaam museum and Kariakoo shops. Then go to Slipway hotel and board your boat and cross over to Bongoyo island for beach excursions at the island. Enjoy swimming, picnic meals and drinks until evening
- 6:30 PM: cross back to Slipway hotel in Dar and drive to Coco beach for some miskaki (skew meat), fried cassava and sugarcane juice as you enjoy the beach breeze. Enjoy an exciting night in Dar es Salaam and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight when you are tired. Meal plan (breakfast + dinner)
Day 11: DEPARTURE
Transfer to Dar es Salaam airport
- 7:00 am: breakfast
- 8:00 am: you will be transferred to the airport for drop off. End of tour.
